That wander chic

Current city: Melbourne.

I'm That Wander Chic! I'm a wanderer, a tourist and a traveller. A few years ago, frustrated with life, you know that terrible crisis when you think you are stuck doing nothing of importance... I decided that it was time to embrace the cliché, quit the job and go travelling.

I left home with this project on my backpack and since then it has become a passion that I'm eager to share.

It all started when I studied Cultural Anthropology, I researched the relationship of the locals in Tepoztlán (Morelos, México) with their cultural and natural heritage used in the Mexican Tourism industry. That study led me to a masters in England where I researched about political tourism in San Cristobal de las Casas (Chiapas, Mexico) to understand the tourist experience in conflict areas.

Since then I've been working as a consultant in different areas, promoting youth employment through creative and collaborative projects. By the moment I'm researching while travelling around the world.

The idea of this Blog is to open up space for people not only to engage and share their experiences about travel but actually make them aware of their role in the industry. I know most travel blogs are a bit similar but, I hope, this one will encourage people to see different perspectives and wonder a bit more...

I hope you like this Blog and remember you are always welcome to collaborate with the team and I!

Bon Voyage!

I'm passionate about sharing and connecting with adventures, stories, tourism experiences that allow us to reflect on our place in the world and the way we travel.

I want to expand this platform, don't hesitate to email me. I love to hear from other wanderers!
